Admission Application Procedure

Parents receive an ADMISSIONS PACKET.

Parents are encouraged to VISIT the School to tour the campus, view the classrooms and speak with teachers, and meet with the Director of Admissions to learn more about the School's philosophy and programs and discuss their child's educational needs.

An APPLICATION (accompanied by a $75.00 non-refundable fee) is filed with the Admissions Office, and parents request that their child's SCHOOL RECORDS and TEACHER RECOMMENDATIONS be sent to The Lexington School. (Note: Depending on the age and current grade level of the prospective student, school records and/or teacher recommendations may not be required.)

As part of the application process, the STUDENT VISITS the School and is SCREENED for appropriate placement.

When the application file is complete, the ADMISSIONS COMMITTEE meets to review the student's school records, teacher observations, and the results of the screening.

Parents are notified of the ADMISSION COMMITTEE'S DECISION.

An ACCEPTANCE LETTER and ENROLLMENT CONTRACT are sent to the parents of admitted students. The signed contract and enrollment deposit are returned to the School.

The new student is now OFFICIALLY ENROLLED!

Please direct and questions you may have to Beth Pride in the Admissions Office. Thank you for your interest in The Lexington School.
