Meet the Admission Team

Beth Pride

Beth Pride has been serving as the Director of Admission for The Lexington School long enough to see her own children progress from Preschool, into Lower School, Middle School and even graduating. In her work with families, Beth combines her love of the school with her professional experience to clearly articulate the enormous value of a Lexington School education. Developing relationships with new families and deepening relationships with current families is what Beth enjoys most about her role at TLS. Beth takes great pride in having enrolled and therefore knowing every single student and parent at The Lexington School. On a daily basis, Beth can be seen around campus showing the school to prospective and visiting families, working with new and current families on the financial aid process, and collaborating with faculty on all the great stories she loves to share in person and in the school's social media.

Beth makes certain to share the school's mission and philosophy on each meeting by highlighting the safe and nurturing environment in which students are encouraged to take risks and stretch to maximize their potential. When families visit, they can see this unique mission in action. Three key elements make the decision to come to TLS easy: the academic program, the beautiful and functional campus, and the community of faculty, parents and students that make up The Lexington School. Beth Pride is the smiling face who will introduce you to The Lexington School.

Jami Ervin

Hailing from Texas, Jami Ervin has been part of The Lexington School family since 2009. Her love for and commitment to the school is evidenced in her participation level. She has served as a Parents Association officer, development volunteer, track coach and substitute teacher.  Her passion for authentic relationships and bringing people together make her a great match for her roles as Assistant Director of Admission and Director of Multicultural Affairs. Having lived in multiple cities and states as an adult, Jami has a heart for families who relocate and avails herself as a resource to help make their transition smoother. She takes the time not only to get to know the families but also to genuinely connect.

Being the parent of current student and an alum strengthens Jami’s vested interest in promoting The Lexington School’s mission and philosophy. She can be spotted both on and off campus engaging in dialogue about TLS. What Jami enjoys most about being at The Lexington School is that “the same mission skills we foster in our children are encouraged and enhanced in us as a faculty.”

Virginia Daugherty
Virginia joined the Admissions team as the Admission Assistant after working several years with The Lexington School upholding a variety of roles. She arrived at TLS in 2012 and since has assisted with after school programs, summer camp, and she has been the welcoming face to greet you at the front desk. While Virginia has loved her time working with children, her educational and professional experience in public relations make her the perfect team member for the admissions office.

Through her years at TLS she has become extensively familiar with families and has grown to love the community. She is the first, smiling, helpful face you will meet upon arriving to the Admissions Office. She is happy to get you started or to answer questions even if you’ve been here for a long time.
